We are looking for an experienced and qualified Assistant Head Chef to take part in organizing the kitchen’s activities. You will be in charge when the Head Chef is not present. You will participate in inspecting the quality of the dishes before they arrive with the guest ensuring high quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
- Food preparation and other activities in relation here to
- Ensuring the quality of daily service
- Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the guest
- Order ingredients according to identified food preparation plan and/or shortages
- Report any problems or defects to the Head Chef
- Managing and training the kitchen team
- Oversee the work of the team
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Participate in fostering a work climate of cooperation and respect between members of the team
- Work hours are mainly in the evenings, late evenings, and weekends
Required Skills
- Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
- Good communication and management skills
- Up to date and familiar with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
- Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Proficient in verbal and written English
Required Experiences
- Previous experience as an Assistant Head Chef or Line Cook
- Proven successful kitchen service
- Credentials/Certificate in hygiene and safety training
- It is preferable but not mandatory if you have a Degree in Culinary science or any equivalent/relevant education
